Animal Shelter & Humane Society Dog Adoptions

ALL dogs listed here are in danger of being killed!

Missing Info & Photos on a Shelter Website mean that dog is gone!
By Texas law, stray dogs can be killed after 3 days and owner turn-ins may be killed immediately! Shelters may consider some dog finders as the dog owner. Contact the animal shelter or humane society listed for adoption and other information or assistance. *

Shelters must euthanize *every day* to make room for new arrivals. Comment date is shelter intake date. Any euthanasia or "KILL DATE" may not accurate. Do not hesitate to ask about any dog!

Not all shelters adopt to the general public. Some dogs may be saved when a good rescue foster home is found. Contact TAMR immediately to foster or sponsor any Malamute listed.

Not *ALL* shelter dogs are shown here! Visit Pet Harbor and Petfinder for many more dogs.

Please call / visit the shelter and do not rely on email when trying to save a life.

CGAS. 7/20/10 I am a female, black and white wooly Siberian Husky. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 6 months old. Sweet girl, a kisser and loves to cuddle with humans. A bit hyper but on par with a puppy's energy, always on the move. She's in great health condition, doesn't mind handling her all over, ears, mouth, paws...everywhere. Knows basic commands (when she's calm enough to listen). Click here for more pics. Contact City of Georgetown Animal Shelter at (512) 930-3592 for more info!

Balto was found as a stray on 7/9 wandering around Hutto all alone. He's living at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter awaiting his forever home. Good temperament and walks well on a leash...will turn if you pull on the leash. Knows basic commands, allows you to handle and touch him all over with no problems and is eager to please. Click here for more pics. Contact Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter at 512-943-3322 for more info!
