Picture Name Sex Age Comments  Angus (Austin) M Young Owner. Angus is a 20 month Akita/Malamute/Chocolate Lab Mix. He is a beautiful, strong, shorthaired male weighing in at 85 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on all in his vaccinations. Angus is completely housebroken and has been trained to sit, down, stay, wait to eat and is good on a leash. Unfortunately he wants to be top dog which has not worked out well with the other male dog in his current home, so he is seeking a home where he can be the only dog or possibly paired with a female. Aslan is a big beautiful wooly boy at 26 inches and 100 lbs. He is almost 3 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, needs HW preventative. Good with most dogs, but not small dogs and probably no cats. Good with people and kids but may need refresher housetraining. Email Debbie for more info.  Jewell (San Antonio) F Adult Rescue. Jewell is red & white husky female approx. 12-15 months old. She is a super sweet love bug who just desparately wants you to want her attention. Shy and insecure, she will cry when left alone or crated. Needs a secure fence (6ft in height) and a playmate. That's Jewell with 2 L's for twice the love. Email Steve for more info. Kaos (Henrietta) M Adult Owner. Kaos is 4 yrs old and best guess he is a mix with some Husky in him as his mom appears to be Husky. He's a lap dog, and has a gentle heart! He loves to run and go on walks, play tug of war with his stuffed animals, loves to cuddle, follows hand commands pretty well, for sit, shake and down. He is housetrained. Needs a home ASAP! They liked me so much at the shelter that the kept me as long as they could. I am absolutely beautiful with a great attitude. Kaj found a home, so I need to be adopted into an only dog home. Sofie is an AKC registered Giant Alaskan Malamute and weighs apprx. 140lbs. She is 5 years old, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. Sofie is a very friendly, mellow, and easy going gal whose prior owners threatened to take to shelter and a good Samaritan took her in until her new 'fur' ever home can be found. She is house and kennel trained but does ok in house if not kenneled. Ok with cats! Is alpha with larger dogs; gentle with smaller ones so may do best as only dog or submissive buddy. Walks fine on leash, rides well in car, and knows some basic commands. Sofie is food and toy possessive. Prefer calm experienced Mal or large dog home without small kids. See pictures of Sofie here.
