Curly
(Austin)

M
Young
Owner. Large 3yr old male malamute (130lbs) needs to be rehomed. He currently lives outside and is not house or crate trained. He is friendly and likes to get petted but is used to being independent and doing what he wants. NO cats or small dogs! Email Renee for more info.

Davey
(Abilene)

M
Senior
Owner. Davey is a very well behaved, gentle, calm (yet playful), and friendly older boy. He is housetrained and well mannered in the house not crated. The perfect dog for a first time dog owner, a single person, or a family with children, with or without other dogs. He gets along great with children and adults. Loves his walks or romps in the backyard! Davey's owners have fallen on bad tiimes and ill health, and can no longer take care of him anymore. Davey is apprx 7 years old. Email Erin or call 325-320-1456 for more info.

Foxy
(Austin)

F
Young
Rescue. Cross-posting for Big Dog Rescue, Inc.. Foxy really needs a home on her own. She's a very friendly and sweet girl. Good with other dogs, kids, and cats! She's a husky mix small female and full of husky energy!! She's getting kennel crazy and really needs a change of scenery preferable somewhere to call her own! Contact Big Dog Rescue for more info.

Ghost
(Austin)

M
Adult
Owner. GHOST is currently available for adoption as his previous owner has been diagnosed with cancer and had to relocate out of state. Ghost is approximately 6-7 years old. He has had previous obedience training, but would benefit from refresher training. Ghost would do better as an only dog or with a submissive female that is close to his size. Ghost will not be adopted to a home with cats. Ghost does not do well with other male dogs or with small dogs. Ghost is housetrained but prefers to be outdoors (even in the Texas heat!). He is friendly to all people, but would do best in a home with children at least 10 years old due to his size. Ghost is crate trained and loves to sleep in his crate at night. He is afraid of fireworks and thunderstorms so cannot be left alone if these events occur. Ghost is current on vaccinations, is neutered, on heartworm and flea prevention, and is heartworm negative. Ghost does not have any known health issues. Email Karen for additional information on Ghost or call 512-868-5810 for more info.

Lucky
(Dallas)

M
Young
Rescue. I am fostering him until I can find him a good home. I rescued him from the Sherman Animal Shelter on 8/8/11 when he was scheduled to be put down. He is such a joy to be around and always happy. He gets along great with people and other dogs (male and female). He is currently only about 40ish lbs, but he is way skinny, so I will be putting some weight on him! I am working on crate training him and on his basic commands. He seems to be a very young adult and plays like a puppy. Anyone who takes this dog home is truly the lucky one!! Click here for more pics! Send a private message to Christi for more info.

Neshoba
(Alpine)

F
Young
Owner. Neshoba is a sweet friendly young female Alaskan Malamute. She is 1 year old, spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations. Leash trained and knows basic obedience. Very vocal! Neshoba is selective about her dog buddies so so would do best in a home with male companions only. Unknown on cats or kids. She is located in West Texas. Serious inquires only. A home check and vet reference required. There is a re-homing fee. Email Julie for more info.

Smokey
(Brenham)

M
Senior
Owner. Smokey is a male Malamute mix. He is about 45 lbs, 7 years old, neutered & up to date on shots. Great with children (he plays with our 3-4 year olds) but is not keen on dogs in his territory. Cats may get a playful run but he has never hurt one. Very friendly, affectionate, energetic, and yet protective. House trained at one point when he was younger; will need refresher training. Has some basic training but too much energy to listen well unless he has had a real good run. Needs a good fenced in yard (6ft+) and supervised when outside. Crate trained. Email Drake for more info.
