All dogs are health checked, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, medically treated, and evaluated
prior to adoption. TAMR dogs are located primarily in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio and most TAMR
dogs are available for state-wide adoption, some restrictions may apply. Please read our Adoption & Foster information pages for
adoption requirements. Please complete our application before you contact TAMR to arrange any personal visits.

Jack is a happy, friendly, and playful boy who likes people. He plays well with toys, but needs supervison as he can be possessive at times. Jack is the perfect companion for a home with no kids, cats, or other dogs altho he may do well with the right female. Jack fell on hard times as a neglected dog and would love a foster home to continue his rehab while waiting for adoption. |

Jewel is a very happy girl, smart, and quite strong. She will do best in a very active home. She loves long walks and running in a creek/pond on a long leash. Jewel is selective on her dog buddies so would do best with a friendly male. NO cats for this gal or small kids. |

Kami is a small girl who is very friendly. Good with most dogs, altho no small dogs or cats. She can be shy with strangers. She is high heartworm positive so she will start treatment soon. |

Koda is super friendly and loves to give big sloppy kisses. Great tempermant and will do great in an active household. He needs a strong fence and probably will not do well crated. We recommend a strudy oversize crate to train him in if needed. He is lean and still underweight, so will grow into his ears with time. Koda needs a foster home while waiting for his furever home. |

Kumo is a 1 year old bundle of teenager energy! Sweet boy who is very playful and likes to explore. Kumo will do best in an active home with lots of daily exercise and firm handling in the home. He needs structure and general training in obedience. Kumo loves to play with toys, but needs supervison as he will try to guard them. This can be addressed with proper training. No cats or small children. Kumo needs a dog savvy foster while waiting for a new home. |

Leah is super sweet, friendly, and outgoing. She does well with most other dogs her size, including some friendly females. No cats for this girl tho! Leah needs a foster home while waiting for her furever home. |

Tala is super sweet and very friendly. Great with people, older kids, dog savy cats, and other dogs. She doesnt like being crated or confined but is well mannered in a home loose. We feel she will do best in a home with a stay at home human or would make a great companion for a retired couple as she wants to be with her humans constantly. Tala has anxiety issues when left alone and we are considering different options to treat the issue. See pictures of Tala Lakota here. |

This boy was too good to ride with the dog catcher and instead got a ride in the back seat of a Houston Police car! He is packing a few extra pounds, very friendly, but has some stubborness and probably someone's spoiled housedog. He is laid back and loves treats. He plays well with a female kennel companion and ok around some males too! He did great at a recent dog event with people and dogs; and loved the attention. Will do best around bigger dogs. No cats or other small animals. |
